Since April, I have been training the 'East End Girls' so that they are in peak condition for the Breakthrough 60K Walk this coming weekend and they are all there and ready for it all to happen. I am so proud of each and every one of them for what they have achieved.
I suppose in a way I had a dream regarding this walk and the team and as the Universe would say, if you visualise it strongly enough and believe it will happen, it will and I could not ask for more.
Every step that I planned has been completed and I now have a great group of close friends, because that is what we have become, who would probably never have come together without this goal. We are there for each other, we support and tease and have put the world to rights on so many occasions. It is a great feeling.
Unfortunately two of our members will not be able to do the walk and two others are a little doubtful but are going to start but we know you are all with us whatever happens and may even be cheering us on. We are doing this for you too.
So what now, well ready and rearing to go, not only for this but for more walks - day long, weekend long and perhaps even week long. What more could a walkers' coach ask for.
